Frequently Asked Questions About Sublative Skin Resurfacing
Treatments usually take an hour or less. We provide topical numbing cream to keep any pain at a minimum. Most patients report it feels like a warm, prickly sensation.
We recommend three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for best results. This would include three treatments of both Sublative and Sublime if both are recommended for your condition.
You will begin to see results after your first treatment, and you will continue to see improvement over time as the collagen continues to produce new skin cells in the treated area.
For 1-2 days after the treatment, you will notice some mild redness in the treated area, which may feel like a sunburn. You may also experience some dryness and skin flaking. These side effects are perfectly normal, and a mild facial moisturizer will lessen these issues.
